HIGH-TECH ARRANGEMENTS BEING MADE FOR SIMHASTHA

UJJAIN MAKES HIGH-TECH ARRANGEMENTS TO ORGANISE SIMHASTHA


High-tech arrangements are being made for Simhastha to be held in 2016 in Ujjain. Location of all electric poles installed in 22 sectors of 6 zones will be shown on GIP map. Due to this system, devotees and Government employees can use pole numbers very easily in case of any power-related incident in Mela area.

For smooth conduct of the scheme, Ujjain Commissioner Ravindra Pastor has directed Zonal Officer of Madhya Pradesh Western Region Power Distribution Commission to inscribe numbers of electric poles in all 22 sectors.


Meanwhile, it has been decided that every person coming to Simhastha-2016 at Ujjain would get insured on entering Mela premises. This arrangement has been made by Mela administration. The person may be a Govt officer or employee, shopkeeper of Mela area or common devotee, all will be insured for Rs2 lakh each. For this, the State Govt has made provision to pay premium of Rs1.76 crore to insurance company.

Apart from entire acquired Simhastha fair area, entire Ujjain Municipal Corporation area, satellite towns, parking and Panchkroshi Yatra would be covered by insurance. Govt property in Simhastha area will also be insured. In case of loss to Government property due to any kind of natural calamity, the insurance company will pay claim of Rs50 crore to the government. Besides, provision of payment of upto Rs100 crore claim has also been made in case of more than one incident in Mela area.
